Reducing Gun Violence in the Washington DC & Surrounding Areas
Our Mission
Guns Down Friday enacts positive change within D.C. and Prince George’s County communities afflicted by youth homicide, suicide, and mental illness.
Through strategic event organization, we empower community members to collaboratively address gun violence & related challenges. Even in neighborhoods facing ongoing shootings and safety concerns, Guns Down Friday remains steadfast. We take proactive steps, even when traditional gatherings might not be possible. Our team goes door-to-door, reaching out to families personally and offering tailored support.
