Guns Down Friday Mobile Food & Literacy Program
Guns Down Friday’s Mobile Food & Literacy Program is dedicated to serving children in high-crime neighborhoods by delivering vital support and enrichment directly to those most in need. Our mobile initiative combines nutritious snacks with captivating books, visiting different locations where children often struggle to access such resources. By meeting kids where they are, we provide nourishing snacks to fuel their bodies and a diverse range of books to ignite their imaginations. Our selection includes engaging stories and educational materials tailored to various interests and age groups, fostering a love for reading and learning in underserved communities impacted by high crime rates. Together, we aim to transform neighborhoods one book and one meal at a time.
Stop The Bleed Training
Our “Stop the Bleed” program is essential for communities with limited access to hospitals. We provide crucial training in bleeding control, empowering individuals to be immediate responders in emergencies. We train youth at various schools and reach out to neighborhoods with high crime rates, equipping residents with life-saving skills.
